Digital Learning Centre opens in Blackwood

28th, 29th and 30th of November
Wales International Documentary Festival-WIDF is launching WIDF Digital Learning Centre at Blackwood Miners Institute supported by Caerphilly Regeneration Trust, Film Cymru Wales, BFI Connector Fund,  Arts Development Team and Shoot from the Hip Films production. 
WIDF Digital Learning Centre is open all year round program in order to promote digital inclusion, active citizenship and increase access and participation in the arts. If you're in the area pop in and see us at Blackwood MIners' Institute, High Street, Blackwood.
Our Aims: 
● To contribute to the economic, cultural, and social regeneration of the region, and to help make Caerphilly Borough a better place to live, visit, and work. 
● To create employment and training opportunities in the creative industries for young people in Caerphilly County Borough. 
● To deliver an all-year-round programme of activities that will promote the acquisition of digital skills in the community. 
● To promote a cost-effective resource to the creative industries, community organisations and businesses across South Wales and beyond. 
● To create, produce and deliver an international documentary film festival in Caerphilly County Boroug
